West Ham United will not be selling Marko Arnautovic when the transfer window opens in January, according to the Daily Star.
The Austria international has recently revealed a desire to play in the Champions League again, having dipped his toes into the competition earlier in his career during spells with Twente and Werder Bremen while he was twice an unused substitute during Inter Milan’s triumphant campaign in 2010.
The twenty-nine-year old was linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer, which would have seen him reunited with Jose Mourinho – the man who he played under at the San Siro.
Since signing for the Hammers from Stoke City, Arnautovic has played forty-six times in all competitions, scoring sixteen goals while last season he was named the club’s Player of the Year.
Internationally, he has been capped seventy-five times for his country, scoring twenty goals and was part of the squad for 2016 European Championships in France.
