Regardless of how the 2022 season trickles down for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this year is going to make for one compelling episode of “Man in the Arena” based on the offseason alone.
Tom Brady’s retirement had the life span of a New Year’s resolution and Bruce Arians hung up his Kangol and Darth Vader chest piece, turning the team over to promoted defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
On paper, all the pieces of a championship team are still in Tampa and the Bucs’ NFL odds confirm that outlook, pricing them among the top contenders in terms of Super Bowl, NFC title, and season win total markets.
We poke around the pirate ship to figure out the best ways to wager on Tampa Bay in 2022 (Unders off the starboard bow!). Ahoy…
Even with Hurricane Hilary threatening Southern California on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers are still scheduled to lock horns for their scheduled preseason game.
What does the second week of preseason have in store? Looking at NFL odds, the Saints are expected to blow into town and cruise to victory. I’m generally not a fan of laying points with the road team in preseason action, so allow me to dive deeper into this matchup to determine if the line is warranted.
Read on for my best bet and full NFL preseason picks and predictions for the Saints vs. Chargers on Sunday, August 20.

Defensive players don’t always get the most publicity. Sure, you have the elite names like Micah Parsons and T.J. Watt, but plenty of other highly-productive defenders fly under the radar and that’s where the best value sometimes lies when betting on sacks and tackle props in the NFL odds market.
Those are some of the players I’m targeting in Week 10 odds as I’m bullish on a Cowboys star defensive end, a Seahawks edge rusher on a six-game sack streak, and bet on a Jets linebacker who often gets overshadowed by his own brother.
Here are my favorite sack and tackle NFL picks for Week 10.

Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in!
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, despite just one game remaining in the season, it is still very much teaser time with a spot that I love in the Super Bowl odds!
It wasn’t in our plans to do a teaser article for the big game, but thankfully things align with both the spread and total where we can slap an extra six points on both to add an additional bet to our NFL picks on Super Bowl Sunday.
So, for the final time this season, I look through the NFL odds to present to you my favorite teaser spot of the week — let’s go!

The New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings head to London, England to face off against each other to kick off Sunday’s Week 5 action.
Minnesota has shocked the world by beginning the year 4-0, and my Jets vs. Vikings predictions don’t see them coming down to earth just yet. Here are my best NFL picks for this clash at Tottenham Stadium on October 6.
Be sure to also check out our Jets vs. Vikings prop picks and Aaron Rodgers spotlight picks!
Jets vs Vikings prediction
My best betVikings -2.5 (-110 at BetMGM)
My analysisThe Minnesota Vikings were expected to be a below-average team this year but have surprisingly gone 4-0 straight up and against the spread. They’ve faced some formidable opponents as well, with home wi…

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea appears to have missed out on a place on the 30-man shortlist for the 2018 Ballon d Or.
The Spain international, who was named in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 last month, has not been included in the latest group of five nominees for France Football s individual prize.
The latest candidates, who are being revealed in alphabetical order, include Thibaut Courtois, 2017 winner Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Roberto Firmino and Diego Godin.
Courtois is included after a season in which he won the FA Cup with Chelsea and came third at the World Cup with Belgium winning the Golden Glove before he moved to Real Madrid.
Ronaldo, now at Juventus, won the Champions League for the third season in a row with Madrid, while…
This hotly anticipated local derby sees Martin O Neill s Villa side look to continue their impressive form and push towards a top four finish, while Wolverhampton Wanderers look to gain valuable points in order to beat the drop.
Aston Villa seem to have recovered their form of recent weeks after a slight slump after Christmas. A lot of this is down to James Milner s scintilating form and the great pace they enjoy from Agbonlahor and Young. They have also been aided by a stable squad devoid of serious injuries. They currently lie seventh in the table but they are only three points off fourth placed Spurs with a game in hand. The race for fourth place this season has been closer than ever with four genuine contenders for the spot and Villa will know that they have their best chan…

Desperately seeking a crucial boost on Thursday night, Manchester United will travel over to Portugal when they meet Porto.
Porto
Starting with the hosts, while Porto might have been left frustrated last week as they opened their Europa League adventure with an action-packed 3-2 defeat away at Norwegian outfit Bodo-Glimt, the Dragons claimed an immediate response last weekend. Eventually storming their way to a routine 4-0 romp against Arouca, Vitor Bruno’s men have continued on a domestic romp since opening up the new campaign. Making a statement on September 21st as they secured a 3-0 victory away at Guimaraes, Porto have won six of their first seven Primeira Liga appearances. Smelling the chance to pick up a heavyweight European s…
Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has been voted 18th in the final list for the 2019 Ballon d Or, a fall of 15 places from last year.
Griezmann finished behind only Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo 12 months ago after winning the World Cup with France and impressing for Atletico Madrid at club level.
However, an underwhelming end to his Atletico career and a tough start to life at Barcelona who he joined in a €120million deal in July has seen him drop down the list.
It marks the second time the 28-year-old has slipped from third to 18th, having done likewise in 2017.
The s delegation had just arrived with Lionel Messi, and
